Motion Recruitment Partners is currently hiring for a new member of our corporate Data Solutions team. As a Data Analyst, you will support business goals by working with our data engineers and business intelligence team to help mature our data solutions capabilities. Our team collaborates across all functional areas of the MRP organization to deliver and maintain solutions that provide actionable information. This role will primarily operate remotely, but needs to be in the Boston, Atlanta, or Dallas/Fort Worth area to facilitate in person team collaboration when necessary.

In this role you will:
As a Data Analyst you will support data and business intelligence solutions of varying complexities through the following activities:
  • Research and resolve issues with existing data solutions
  • Assist our data engineers in the creation and maintenance of a data lake, ETL processes, and unified data model
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for our data engineers
  • Facilitate collaboration between the Business Intelligence and Data Solutions teams through a standardized agile/scrum process
  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation (eg. data dictionary) regarding our data solutions
  • Demonstrate on-going learning of tools and processes
Ideally you will have:
  • 3-5 years of data analysis/data engineering experience (mid-level position)
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Experience solving complex data problems
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage many tasks at once
  • Experience with SQL Server development
  • Preferred: Experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT & Python
  • Preferred: Experience with Looker, PowerBI
  • Preferred: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Preferred: Staffing Industry Experience
  • Preferred: BA/BS degree
