Application Security Engineer

Are you an application security engineer looking to influence a program from the ground up? From deciding what tools to use to onboarding & implementing them to establishing best practices with the development team & analyzing risk. A SaaS company providing software primarily to the healthcare industry is looking to bring on their first application security engineer working closely with senior leadership to establish the internal best practices & procedures.
This is a great opportunity for a security-minded developer with some application security experience, or an appsec engineer to take their skills to a smaller org.
This is a remote position within the United States. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ Years of Application Security experience including utilizing scanners (SAST/DAST), Identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities

• Experience in a SaaS environment
• Prior experience establishing an application security program
