Data Scientist

Job Description A global healthcare leader is hiring for a Data Scientist with 2+ YOE as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst. This company offers a portfolio of life-changing technologies across diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals, and pharmaceuticals. This role is hybrid in the Northern Chicago suburbs.

Their Nutrition division is looking for a Data Scientist. The main objective of this team is to create sustainable and flexible demand forecasting models. They are looking for someone with experience with R and statistical analysis and having Python or other data/statistical modeling tools is a plus. This is a new team with lots of opportunity to grow in the future and learn how to use different technologies. Required Skills & Experience

• R and Python
• 2+ years of experience building Machine Learning models

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics
• Statistical experience
• Demonstrated experience with forecast modeling, time series modeling, and neural networks
