Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Andover, MA

This client is a green energy IOT company that designs and manufactures electrical devices.

In this role you will be acting as an Automation focused tester, working with Python and Pytest. You'll be primarily doing Functional and Performance testing, and also working in an Azure environment. Experience with CICD tools, Kubernetes and Azure DevOps are big plusses. 

This is a hybrid role that requires one day a week onsite in Andover, MA. This is a 6-month contract to hire position.


Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on Python and Pytest.
• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous work with Kubernetes
• Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins or Github Actions

• Conducting both manual and automated testing
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance quality control
• Implementing testing strategies and rebuilding the framework/system processes
