An automation services firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-Level Automation Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our team. This company specializes in helping clients design, implement, and sustain automation systems and solutions to improve their operations and efficiency.

As a Mid-level Automation Engineer at our automation services firm, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation systems and solutions for clients in various industries using industry-standard software such as Rockwell's Studio 5000, Inductive Automation's Ignition, Rockwell's FactoryTalk View SE, GE's Proficy iFix, and/or Aveva's System Platform. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, and use your knowledge of industry standard software and programming languages to configure and program automation equipment and systems. Additionally, you will create and maintain detailed documentation of automation systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and operation manuals, and test and debug automation systems to ensure proper functionality and reliability. You will also provide technical support to clients as needed.

This role is Hybrid - 25% in office, 75% remote or at a client site (has to have own transportation to travel between sites). Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in automation engineering
  • Strong experience with Rockwell’s Studio 5000, Inductive Automation’s Ignition, Rockwell’s FactoryTalk View SE, GE’s Proficy iFix, and/or Aveva’s System Platform software
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial networking
  • Experience with SCADA systems and industrial protocols such as Modbus and Ethernet/IP
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
