A Software Company located in DC is looking for a Computer Vision Scientist to join their team. They specialize in serving commercial but mainly government sectors serving hundreds of clients. 

This is a very exciting opportunity to work with a team of gifted Scientist and Engineers attack new and interesting machine learning problems building the highest performing models and products for its customers while having the freedom to bring in your own creativity. Responsibilities:
  • Build computer vision models.
  • Work on all stages of model development life cycle
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end-user product owners to understand computer vision needs.
  • Effectively communicate results and ideas with presentations and technical reports.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
  • BS degree in statistics, mathematics, machine learning, computer science, physics, engineering, etc.
  • MS or PhD is preferred
  • 5+ years of industry experience in Computer Vision
  • Deep Learning for object detection, classification, and segmentation tasks
  • Some experience in applying these techniques to overhead imagery (satellite and other aerial imagery) a big plus they look for.
  • 3+ years experience coding Computer Vision models in Python that live in production systems
  • Some experience with frameworks like Pytorch and Tensorflow and other tools such as MLFlow, Tensorboard, Kubeflow, and Docker.
  • Agile development methodologies experience.
