Technology Strategist

Our client, an American independent investment management company, is actively looking for a Technology Strategist to join their team on a hybrid model in Atlanta, GA!

*** This begins as a 4-month contract ***

*** Onsite 2-3 days/week ***

In this role, the candidate would be responsible for assisting the Technical Strategy department by delivering a high level of support to the various talent initiatives that the team is responsible for.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical training on focal topics like cloud, data visualization, python, and others to an incoming group of 10 early career associates over the course of 1-2 months.
• Assist in the coordination of meet and greets amongst the organization with the incoming team of early career associates.
• Provide guidance on a technical case study that the team works through over the course of their 1-2 month onboarding.
• Strategize and assist in the coordination of a department-wide training program
• Research and share technology trends and the future of work
• Assist with other ad-hoc department-wide projects as needed

Desired Skills And Experience

• Expertise in some of the following focal technology areas such as AWS, Python, Java, Snowflake, Machine Learning, and others.
• Excellent computer skills utilizing spreadsheet and word processing (Windows, MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Power BI a plus)
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals including both internal and external contacts required
• Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
