Leading financial services organization with award winning culture is seeking a Full Time Employee as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. This is a fantastic job for a candidate who wants to have impact and influence in a company that wants input, collaboration and smart engineering. 

In this position you be hands on executing infrastructure engineering solutions and collaborating across IT and also working with stakeholders to ensure infrastructure integrity and security. We are seeking a high initiative candidate who solves problems and engineers solutions to improve infrastructure security and can communicate and collaborate well with others. 

Full Time Employment - on-site 2 days, remote 3 days/week

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Systems security.
  • MS/Windows, Azure is a plus
  • Active Directory, Group policy
  • 2 Factor Authentication, email security tools
  • Must consent to participating in facial recognition access reader technology, in order to gain access to secured IT areas.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Excel in working independently and preemptively tackling issues
  • Experience with cloud security (Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS).
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
  • Hands on design and implementation experience in at least three of the following:
    • Network security monitoring and analysis
    • Enterprise level firewall policy administration
    • Intrusion detection and prevention
    • Log management, event monitoring and reporting
    • Web Application Firewalls
    • Data Encryption and Key Management systems
    • Host or application-based security

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Oversee the design and implementation of policies, systems, and safeguards to ensure information system integrity and security.
  • Manage security tools and collaborate with employees and third-party partners on network security.
  • Research, test, and recommend new tech solutions for corporate network integration.
  • Monitor and report on company-wide compliance with IT security standards, coordinating external security testing resources.
  • Support IT and business projects requiring security infrastructure and services.
  • Foster information security awareness within the organization.
  • Regularly analyze infrastructure security gaps and implement controls.
  • Handle security investigations, forensic analyses, and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Lead the continuous vulnerability management program, ensuring timely remediation.
  • Monitor new vulnerabilities, assess impact, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Review security logs and alerts to promptly identify and counter threats.
  • Implement security measures and respond to incidents effectively.
  • Onsite Tuesday and Thursday, remote Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
