Senior AWS Cloud Architect / REMOTE

We’re partnered with one of the largest PaaS companies that created a research database that reaches consumers all across the globe. They are looking for an AWS Architect to develop POCs and design cloud platform solutions. You will work with development teams to build out cloud environments and migrate legacy applications into their cloud environment.

You should have professional experience building out and designing AWS and OnPrem environments and have a deep understanding of modern DevOps tools. The ideal candidate has programming experience with Java. This is a 100% remote role that could be done anywhere in the US

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT experience
• 3-4 years of experience in an AWS architect role
• Experience creating roadmaps and blueprints of AWS environments
• Prior experience coding in a modern OOP language
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verablly

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or related STEM degree
• Experience working with container and orchestration tools
