Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Windows System Engineer to play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Windows server environments. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Windows Server administration, virtualization, and a passion for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.
Responsibilities:

Windows Server Administration:
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software components.

Active Directory Management:
- Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory services, including user and group management, GPOs, and domain controllers.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the Active Directory infrastructure.

Virtualization:
- Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V) and virtual machines.
- Optimize virtualization performance and resource utilization.

System Monitoring and Performance Tuning:
- Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization for Windows-based systems.

Security and Patch Management:
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
- Manage patching and updates for Windows servers.

Documentation and Collaboration:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Windows System Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration (2012, 2016, 2019).
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) are a plus.
