Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Windows System Engineer to play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Windows server environments. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Windows Server administration, virtualization, and a passion for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Windows Server Administration:

   • Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
   • Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software components.

2. Active Directory Management:

   • Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory services, including user and group management, GPOs, and domain controllers.
   • Ensure the security and integrity of the Active Directory infrastructure.

3. Virtualization:

   • Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V) and virtual machines.
   • Optimize virtualization performance and resource utilization.

4. System Monitoring and Performance Tuning:

   • Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address performance issues.
   • Conduct performance tuning and optimization for Windows-based systems.

5. Security and Patch Management:

   • Implement and maintain security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
   • Manage patching and updates for Windows servers.

6. Documentation and Collaboration:

   • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Windows System Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration (2012, 2016, 2019).
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) are a plus.
