Our client is an agile and innovative software development and consulting company with long-standing client relationships and an emerging products division. Their primary expertise is in application development, data visualization, Information Technology (IT), Heavy Financial and Information Systems, and Their clients include large financial firms, utilities and Federal customers. They utilize a balanced team of experienced developers, architects, designers, and project managers to provide exceptional value to our clients.
They are Urgently seeking a Sr. Project Manager within the PMO and Senior managment side with strong skills and experiene specifically in the Financial Industry and Risk Mnagement. This is a Long-term Contract to hire opportunity to work Hybrid onsite in their Austin TX.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing, sales and analytics to define acceptance criteria for user stories, driving alignment and clarity
- Partner with lead product owner to lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming and retros
- Support activities to ensure adoption success, including user training, documentation, and release notes
- Identify risks and blockers that may impact product deliverables and schedule
- Analyze platform metrics and identify key trends to enhance experience for users
- Demo features and present KPIs and roadmaps to stakeholders and users
- 5+ years product management experience defining vision and strategy for platform products
- Driving product development through a full product lifecycle, developing an MVP, driving feature prioritization, and integrating data and customer feedback into new feature development
- Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies, practices, tools and techniques (e.g. JIRA)
- Track record of building credibility and trust through collaboration, transparency, and integrity
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Management, Computer Science, and/or a related discipline
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Solid analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Prior CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc) and Marketing Technology (Marketo, Eloqua, etc) experience
- Prior financial services or asset management experience
- 55-65/hr pay rate
- Optional 401K

- Option for a fulltime conversion after the contract is over.
- Must be able to go onsite 2-3 days a wee
Must have a Greencard or EDA Visa - no option for Visa sponsorship etc.
