IT Infrastructure Engineer / Austin, TX

Our client, a leader in secure and intelligence wireless technology, is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX.

**This opening is a 6-month long contract position, with the opportunity for extension or conversion**

This IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for providing top level support to ensure the effective, uninterrupted delivery of IT services and solutions to the company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide top level support and mentoring for System Administrators and Service Desk personnel.
• Work closely with other Engineers to ensure infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.
• Assist with and manage infrastructure projects and programs.
• Work closely with the SecOps team to ensure services remain secure and available.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of VMware vSphere, FC SAN, vSAN/VxRail administration.
• Manage vSphere, FC SAN, vSAN/VxRail Clusters globally (NORAM, EU, APAC).
• Manage Brocade SAN Switches, Pure Flasharray, SAN Zoning and Storage provisioning.
• Manage Dell PowerEdge Servers, Dell OpenManage integration appliances.
• Tools: vRealize Ops Mgr., LogInsight, Brocade SanNav, BSL, Pure Appliances (Analytics, Plugins), VMW Skyline.
