A national leading technology company that specializes in providing innovative cloud solutions to businesses worldwide is looking to bring on an Azure Cloud Specialist. This company is leveraging the power of Microsoft Azure to help the clients accelerate digital transformation, optimize operations, and drive business growth.
As an Azure Cloud Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, and security will be essential in architecting robust and scalable cloud environments. This is a mid-level position that offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance your Azure engineering skills.
This is a full time permanent role based in the Suburbs of Philadelphia. You must be local to commute once or twice per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and define Azure solution architectures.
  • Design and deploy Azure infrastructure components, including virtual networks, storage accounts, virtual machines, and Azure Active Directory integration.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Azure resources.
  • Manage and optimize Azure services, monitoring performance, and implementing scaling strategies.
  • Assist in migrating on-premises infrastructure and applications to Azure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues, providing timely support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies, trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
  • Document technical solutions, configurations, and processes for both internal and client use.

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of professional experience working with Microsoft Azure in a hands-on engineering capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, and security.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools.
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure deployment methodologies (ARM templates, Terraform, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, such as virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, and VPN gateways.
  • Familiarity with Azure security models and best practices, including Azure AD, RBAC, and Azure Security Center.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
