Machine Learning Engineer

One of the largest automotive companies in the world is searching for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team at their state-of-the-art R&D facility in Belmont, CA. This position will be responsible for researching, developing, and optimizing some of the most advanced automotive technology on the market through the development of Machine Learning Modules and Artificial Intelligence approaches.

This unique opportunity to work alongside experts in their field that are changing the way we think of cars begins on a long-term, ongoing W2 contract with the potential to convert to permanent during the contract duration.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, further, and enhance existing Machine Learning modules for autonomous vehicles
• Design and implement new Machine Learning based approaches on existing frameworks
• Select appropriate data sets and data representation methods
• Build functional Software prototypes
• Identify discrepancies in data distribution that affect overall model performance

 

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Ph.D. preferred
• Minimum of 4 years' professional experience
• Functional understanding of Deep Neural Network Learning, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning
• Strong programming skills with Python and TensorFlow
• Experience working with Transformers, CNNs, RNNs, and LSTMs
