Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in handling datasets from Imaging (high content screening), cell painting, or micro electrode array (MEA) based biological measurement platforms.
  • Develop and implement advanced algorithms and statistical models to extract insights from complex biological datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design appropriate data analysis strategies.
  • Perform data preprocessing, normalization, and quality control to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Apply machine learning and data mining techniques to identify patterns, trends, and relationships in large-scale datasets.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including scientists, project leaders, and management, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and drug discovery technologies, and proactively apply them to improve our analytical approaches.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with datasets from biological drug discovery assays, such as Imaging (high content screening), cell painting, or micro electrode array (MEA) based biological measurement platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
