We are working with a local company that is focused on providing research solutions using e-books, e-journals, and research databases. Materials accessing discovery services to be able to support the information needs. They are providing a cloud-based platform that connects hundreds of users to import and impactful information. They are the current leader in their filed due to the cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking philosophy. This company is looking for a Platform Cloud Architect to bring in a team-oriented and creative player.
As a Platform Cloud Architect, you will work with the development team and lead the charge in in guiding secure design of our products and platforms. Helping with the design of cutting-edge security tooling in systems. You will be leading efforts to bring new technologies and best practices into the organization. Lead the team in driving architectural alignment in support of the cloud-based mission. You will have hands on experience combined with working knowledge. Required Skills & Experience

- Experience migrating from traditional data center infrastructure and application designs to hybrid or fully-cloud enabled infrastructure
- Background and knowledge of SaaS applications, API and Cloud Security
- Expert with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration, and Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Python, Terraform)
- Design services and solutions in AWS using infrastructure as code with a strong emphasis on standardization and reusability
- Experience leading architecture practice at the enterprise level
- Broad security experience with 12 plus years for experience
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent background experience
- Strong communication and inclination to collaborate in team environments
