A large global pharmaceutical company leading in research and development in the industry, with a strong commitment to proactive and passionate work. The group located in Cambridge is looking to add a driven, results-oriented data engineer to their team. The company offers the opportunity for a contract role at $40/hr W2 with benefits. 

The Role: 
The ideal candidate will be located in Boston, with 3+ years of experience in relevant data engineering roles or projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively address issues and explore solutions is required. Experience in the use of building and maintaining pipelines using ETL processes into data warehouses and data lakes. Proficiency using the programming languages Python, Scala, Java. As well as familiarity with tools for building pipelines, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka. Additional experience with monitoring data pipelines, NoSQL and DevOps tools is also expected.
