Business Intelligence Analyst-Recruited

Our client, a renown ivy league university, is actively looking for a Data Visualization Specialist to join their team in Boston, MA! This role is hybrid so local candidates are required.

***This is a 6 month initial contract with the opportunity to extend or convert***

The University’s Business School is undertaking a strategic Digital Transformation to innovate and scale their mission of educating leaders who make a difference in the world. In support of this effort, they are looking for a Data Visualization Specialist to assist their team in analyzing data and developing presentations of findings! Responsibilities

• Collect/aggregate, clean, organize, and make sense of data from various sources from across their academic and administrative programs (for instance-student survey tools and course data)
• Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Query and analyze data relationships
• Extract and load datasets/records

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field of study
• 5+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst or Data Visualization Specialist
• Strong experience communicating results effectively through Excel and Powerpoint
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Oracle BI, or PowerBI
• Proficient in writing queries using SQL
• Multi-reporting tool proficiencies is preferred
• Strong communication skills
