Strategy consulting company seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our development team! Our company focuses on the telecommunications, media and technology related sectors. This contract role can be remote or in person.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation tests for our software applications. You will also be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.


  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Python or Java and Selenium
  • Execute automation tests and analyze results to identify defects
  • Troubleshoot and debug defects found during testing
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects
  • Collaborate with the QA team to define and implement best practices for automation testing
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide regular updates on progress
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of testing activities and results


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience with automation testing, including experience with Python or Java and Selenium
  • Strong understanding of PostgreSQL
  • Experience in the consulting industry is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
