Engineering Manager - Frontend

Position Overview: As the Software Engineering Manager for Frontend, you will lead and inspire a team of talented frontend engineers responsible for building and maintaining the user-facing components of our platform. You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of interactive and intuitive web applications that deliver a seamless user experience. Your leadership will ensure that our frontend technology stack evolves in alignment with our strategic goals and delivers high-quality solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide a team of frontend engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development.
• Technical Strategy: Define and execute the technical vision for the frontend architecture. Ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy and objectives while staying ahead of industry trends and technologies.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of frontend projects. Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Code Quality & Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable frontend code.
• User Experience: Advocate for exceptional user experience and design principles. Work closely with UX/UI teams to translate user needs and feedback into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
• Technical Innovation: Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools that enhance development efficiency and application performance. Encourage experimentation and innovation within the team.
• Collaboration: Foster strong cross-functional relationships with other engineering teams, product management, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in frontend development with a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend development best practices. Familiarity with state management, build tools, and version control systems.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, manage projects, and drive results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering complex frontend solutions.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
