Their product is a new family engagement hub designed to connect and teach kids how to build meaningful relationships with their grandparents while offering busy parents peace of mind knowing their loved ones are staying connected. Leveraging recent advancements in AI, this product bridges the communication gap between these generations to drive more frequent and engaging conversations and deepen relationships.
Role
They are looking for a founding designer who is passionate about helping people and wants their work to make a meaningful impact in their community. As the 4th team member and the first designer, this role is critical to their success and will be treated as such. They are looking for someone who is comfortable wearing a lot of hats who enjoys moving at an extremely fast pace and learning on the fly, and who can make progress independently but enjoys collaborating with a small but experienced team.
They are offering significant work-from-home flexibility and envision a hybrid model, but do believe in the power of working together in person regularly.

Requirements
- Someone who is passionate about talking to customers.
- Someone who has been successful at working with a < 10-person startup.
- Someone who adopts a team-first culture, with little tolerance for inflated egos or disrespectful behavior. They strongly believe that work should be fun and that it’s okay to love coming to work!
- Someone who has been a designer at a Consumer software company, particularly one with a social component and/or elements of gamification.
