Position Overview:

They are looking for a Lead Vue Engineer who is not only an expert in Vue.js but also a visionary in the world of frontend development. In this role, you will be responsible for leading their frontend team, driving the development of user interfaces, and ensuring the seamless integration of their platform with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.

  2. Vue.js Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Vue.js applications, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and seamless integration with backend services.

  3. Architectural Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and UX/UI designers, to contribute to the architectural decisions and drive the evolution of their frontend architecture.

  4. Code Quality and Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and implement best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality and maintainable code.

  5. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, and implement solutions to enhance user experience.

  6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance their platform's frontend capabilities.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Vue.js developer with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience. (Preferably a few years of working with Vue 3.0).

  2. Solid understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, and RESTful APIs. 

  3. Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role, demonstrating the ability to guide and inspire a development team.

  4. Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns, with a focus on scalability and performance.

  5. Experience with state management libraries such as Vuex and familiarity with frontend build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Babel).

  6. Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.

  8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
