Lead Full Stack Engineer

My client is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join their team. They are a leading commercial lease management software company that offers a platform for companies to manage their leases and customers all on one platform. This is a platform where all commercial real estate decisions are made, facilitating the access to data and collaboration required by all stakeholders that require it. 

They are looking for a high-level IC fullstack React and Ruby on Rails developer to work and lead the creation of the accounting application used by their clients. The team is a mix of about 14 individuals and 100% remote with the opportunity to come into the Boston office. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, technically agnostic, and is a great communicator. 

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of professional web development experience with Ruby on Rails or a similar framework

• 2+ years of production experience in React (or Vue, Angular, Ember, etc.)

• Experience modeling complex relational database schema

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

• Have mentored junior developers and led teams (this is a leadership, not management role)

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Have worked at a startup previously, or have a strong desire to work at one

• Excellent communication skills
