Job Description
This company is looking for a Payments Product Manager to work in a remote setting growing their business segment. They are a FinTech startup with the support of a Fortune 500 firm, working to develop their digital business banking offerings that let users manage liquidity and payments safely and effectively. They were established as a new corporation in April 2022, starting with the acquisition of ACI Worldwide digital banking business, which jump-started this company’s financial technologies branch.

As a Payments Product Manager, you will be overseeing the development and implementation of payment products and services. Defining the product vision and strategy, conducting market research, analyzing customer needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new payment solutions, and launching and managing payment products are all part of this. While also being in charge of the payment products to comply with industry standards and regulations, monitoring product performance, and making recommendations for improvements. You will be working in adding new features and modernizing their white label platform, working with real-time payments.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience required
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the payments industry, commercial banking and applied technologies
  • Understanding of products, competitive offerings, and market drivers
  • Knowledge in Mobile, APIs, Analytics and Cloud considered a plus
  • Knowledge in ACH and FedNow

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
  • Communicating the product vision and sharing product expertise to the agile teams
  • Identifies and captures requirements that meet market and business needs
  • Organizes, document and prioritizes requirements
  • Engaging internal stakeholders and external contacts as needed to provide direction to the team
  • Determines inclusion/exclusion of customer business requirements (gaps) into the base product

Daily Responsibilities
  • Monitors key performance indicators of the operations to design, deliver, implement, and support the product.
  • Actively manage the product across the entire lifecycle; manages investment levels to maximize revenue and profit performance
  • Determines timing of sunset of product or release/versions, and follows policies and processes to execute sunset
