Position Overview: As a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our mission of redefining the future of logistics through advanced robotic technology. You will lead the design and implementation of embedded software solutions, working on complex algorithms, low-level programming, and system integration. This role offers a chance to shape the direction of our embedded software architecture, drive innovation, and contribute to the success of groundbreaking projects.
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and optimization of embedded software for robotic systems.
  2. Embedded Systems Design: Lead the architectural design of embedded systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  3. Algorithm Development: Design and implement complex algorithms for control, perception, and decision-making in embedded software.
  4. Low-Level Programming: Engage in low-level programming tasks, optimizing software for resource-constrained embedded platforms.
  5. System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and firmware developers, to integrate software seamlessly with robotic hardware components.
  6. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement optimizations to enhance the performance and responsiveness of embedded software systems.
  7. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability of embedded software.
  8. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for embedded software designs, APIs, and system architectures.
  1. Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
  3. Programming Languages: Proficient in C and C++, with a deep understanding of low-level programming and optimization techniques.
  4. Embedded Systems Expertise: Strong background in designing and implementing embedded systems, including knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  5. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
