Principal Frontend Engineer

My client is in need of a Principal Frontend Engineer local to the Minneapolis, Minnesota area to join their team. They're helping customers and businesses make better and smarter financial decisions; enabling communities to grow and succeed. This role would be part of a team that would have flexibility to deliver features through innovative solutions, introducing new tool stack to the bank.

As a Principal Frontend Engineer on the Ecosystem team, you will work on building digital products & modernizing the business banking platform. 
Responsible for delivering end-to-end features, spanning from front-end to API implementation. The tech stack for this role is React, JavaScript, and Angular/Java experience is a plus. You will work with fellow Architects, to effectively plan and execute on new features with stability, scalability, testability, and performance in mind. This role is hybrid in Minneapolis, and full vaccination is required for this opportunity. 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Five to six years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with JavaScript library and framework like React.JS and AngularJS (Must Have)
• Experience with Restful API & Microservices 
• CI/CD experience using Jenkins 
• Cloud computing experience using Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Java (8 and above), Javascript
• Spring MVC & Spring boot
• Experience with container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience with TDD using Mockito, JUnit, etc.
