Company Overview:

Andover based insurance company that specializes in claim management and support services is looking for a Lead/Senior QA Analyst to join their team. Their goal is to provide exceptional service to clients while ensuring that all technical requirements meet the highest standards.

Job Overview:
The Lead/Senior QA Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of the insurance claim management and support services. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies, with experience in Java and Selenium. As a technical role, the Lead/Senior QA Analyst will work closely with end-users, functional analysts, and project team members to ensure technical requirements are understood, testable, and comply with technical standards.

The role is based out of the Andover, MA office and is on-site 4-5 days a week. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and maintain manual and automated test scripts using Java and Selenium for our claim management and support services.
  • Work closely with end-users, functional analysts, and project team members to understand technical requirements and ensure they are testable and meet technical standards.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios that align with business and technical requirements.
  • Review and analyze test results, and communicate findings to the project team members.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new software applications and systems.
  • Identify, document and track defects in the bug tracking system.
  • Mentor and train junior team members on testing methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on manual and automated testing using Java and Selenium.
  • Experience in insurance, claims management, or support services preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test plan development, and test case management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP Quality Center).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior team members.
