QA Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineer - Investment Management Company

Location: Fully Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our Investment Management Company's team. The successful candidate will work on the core platform that allows investors to access, evaluate, and manage investments into venture funds and co-investments. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the platform is of high quality and is fully functional.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality of platform features and functionalities.
• Create and execute test plans and test cases for front-end and back-end testing of the platform.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Cypress, AWS and JavaScript.
• Investigate and identify root causes of issues reported by customers and provide necessary feedback to the development team.
• Work closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues found during testing.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews and requirement sessions.
• Continuously enhance the testing process to ensure that the platform is scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, including front-end and back-end testing.
• Strong understanding of AWS, JavaScript and Cypress.
• Experience with SaaS or Financial companies is a big plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
