Senior Application Security Architect / REMOTE

A major key player in the aviation industry is looking to grow out their security team. They are currently looking for a Senior Application Security Architect to design and implement secure applications across their cloud environment. You will perform security architecture reviews and design security best practices and standards for their enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate or this role will have experience working with SAST/DAST tooling and ability to perform code analysis of applications. You should have a strong understanding of securing code, threat modeling, and cloud security best practices. This is a fully remote role that can be done virtually anywhere in the US. Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in application security architecture, design, and implementation.
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and other common application vulnerabilities.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Strong experience with SAST/DAST tooling
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security or a related field.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or GIAC are a plus.
