Our Client, who are a backup storage solution company, are currently looking for a Senior Customer Support Engineer to join their team. They are looking for an experience professional who can commute to their one of their Massachusetts based offices 3 days a week.

Their ideal candidate is someone who has 5+ years of experience of Linux Administration, networking experience, and has a strong customer support background. They will also be hardworking and dedicated to constantly improving their skill set as well as their customers experience.

Requirements and Qualification
  • 5+ years of Linux Administration experience
  • Working knowledge and experience with basic networking
  • A strong customer support background (8+ years)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong account management skills
  • Ability to work closely with all levels of customers, internal engineers and management on complex issues
  • Excellent verbal and written customer-facing communication skills

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Backup Applications (ARCserve, Backup Exec, Commvault, Netbackup, IBM Spectrum Protect, Oracle RMAN, Veeam)
  • Scripting (e.g. shells, Pearl, Bash, Python)

This role does require an onsite presence, 3 days a week, in one of their Massachusetts based offices.
