Our client’s vision and ID systems take pictures, process them through artificial intelligence software, image sensors, and sophisticated optics to interpret what they see. Businesses use our client’s vision and ID in their manufacturing processes to track items through the entire production and distribution process, guide assembly robots, and enhance the quality of their products. Our client specializes on a barcode reader product which uses advanced optics and AI technology. The client is located in the Middlesex County of Massachusetts working three days a week in office. Our client is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer that is ready to help develop and modernize the companies’ newest technologies.
Our client is the biggest, most renowned, and prosperous player in industrial machine vision worldwide. You will be working alongside well renowned engineers, designing industrial bar code readers in a multimillion-dollar company who is always expanding to incorporate the newest technology available.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields
  • 3 + years of experience in using C/C++
  • 3 + years of experience in using multithread applications
  • Experience in firmware development for Embedded devices running on GNU/Linux
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Embedded Linus / kernel development
  • Collaborative skills with other engineering professionals
  • Ability to be organized, communicate, and work cohesively
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
  • Developing C/C++ firmware for GNU/Linuxpowered embedded devices
  • Configuring multithreaded applications and running reports
Daily Responsibilities
  • Offer strategic customers your product and application expertise, including the ability to duplicate and troubleshoot customer issues
  • Debugging and troubleshooting within a software and hardware context
  • Work together with internal engineering teams and important stakeholders.
