Senior Full Stack Engineer

My client is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their growing team. They are a 50 person tech start-up specializing in building network infrastructure and fiber optic networks for communities. They work with American communities to make the design, and fiber networks come to life. These networks are critical to secure internet access that’s fast, affordable, and fair.

As a member of the team, you will work on building and maintaining their network infrastructure and fiber optic networks for communities. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from building custom tools and systems to support network infrastructure, to developing and improving customer-facing web applications. The ideal candidate is a self starter, great communicator, and passionate about transforming American communities for the greater good. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• 5+ years of professional experience with React and Golang
• Experience with server-side development and building APIs
• Understanding of software development best practices, such as version control, testing, and code review
• Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for learning new technologies and working on challenging projects

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with network infrastructure or telecommunications
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud services
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization
