A major healthcare provider in Cambridge Massachusetts is currently looking to onboard a Senior Network Engineer. This is a great position to work hands-on with a company that offers services including primary care, specialty care, and mental health/substance use services. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week on-site in Cambridge and cannot provide sponsorship for non-U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders.
This position will have lead engineering responsibilities and be tasked with leading and coordinating the network implementations, modifications, and maintenance. The primary requirements for this role are significant experience with Aruba Wireless and Juniper Wired. They are also looking for an engineer that is well-versed with HP equipment, VoIP, Cisco products, and basic routing and switching. CCNA and CCIE certifications are also highly preferred.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with Aruba Wireless and Juniper Wired
- Ability to travel to Cambridge MA 4 days a week
- Ability to mentor LAN, WAN and Cableplant Engineers/Technicians
- Ability to lead and coordinate network implementations, modifications and maintenance
- Ability to ensure consistency with overall enterprise network design
- Experience with HP equipment, VoIP (Voice over IP), Cisco Products, Routing and Switching
- Valid driver's license and personal transportation
Preferences:
- Certifications in CCNA and CCIE or sufficient work experience
