Job Description
Do you want to work for one of Boston's leading insurance companies in a friendly, accepting environment? They provide a variety of financial and insurance services, including life insurance, mutual funds, college savings, long-term care, retirement plans, and chances for institutional investments. They use business, product, and analytics research to create customer-centered solutions, and they are expanding their design team by employing senior product designers. Our senior experience designers aid teams by leading, inspiring, and managing teams for a full-time position working a hybrid schedule with only two days in their Boston office.

They are looking for a product designer who can guide the team in developing their investing product and contribute by offering their ideas. As a Senior Designer, you can incorporate design thinking and strategy into a workplace since you have experience solving complicated business problems. Along with a cross-functional team of designers and product managers, you will be assisting in the prioritizing and innovation of their B2B and B2C products.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer
  • Must have excellent visual design skills including experience using Figma, Sketch, In-Vision, Adobe AEM, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure and/or similar
  • Must be able to lead design thinking activities as well as execute UX/UI designs for product
  • Ability to show strong portfolio with relevant work experiences

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Must have excellent visual design skills including experience using Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe AEM, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure and/or similar (we work primarily in Figma)
  • Must be well-versed in atomic or component-based design and be comfortable working within an established and ever-expanding Design System
  • Must be able to lead design thinking activities as well as execute UX/UI designs for products

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
You will be designing a long-term care/insurance product to be used by family members who have family members who can't sign up for it themselves. If they are very old or have a debilitating disease.
  • Collaborating with customers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams across multiple business units to discover new opportunities and explore customer needs
  • Developing a complete understanding of customer needs and wants, identifying product and business model opportunities, and keeping customers at the forefront of every decision
  • Collaborating with other design teams within the organization to establish a community, share knowledge, and cross-pollinate ideas
  • Embracing and employing both current and emerging UI best practices and digital standards in all design deliverables?
