My client is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join their hybrid based team in Boston, MA! They're a digital image sharing company, passionate about connecting people through the power of images. The platform provides a seamless and engaging experience for users to share, discover, and connect through visual storytelling.
As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will help build the next generation of their image sharing platform. The technical stack for this role is Ruby on Rails in an AWS setting, and React experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is local to the Greater Boston area, is a self starter, and has great communication skills!

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7-10 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby, Rails, and associated technologies.
- Proven track record of working on large-scale Ruby on Rails applications.
- Experience with database design and optimization, preferably with PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
