This medical device manufacturing company is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their expanding team. They provide groundbreaking surgical tools and devices to Orthopedic Surgeons. This is a full-time role with remote flexibility, but a requirement to travel to Naples, FL once per Quarter.
You would be in a position to work with plenty of autonomy, owning all aspects of the end-to-end design process including research, new feature design, design systems improvement, and more. You would also be responsible for designing user interfaces to be implemented in new medical device products.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ YOE in product design
- Experience using UX principles to make design decisions
- Excellent visual design skills
- Bachelor’s degree in design related field
- Experience working in an agile design environment
- Experience working in an autonomous role to establish UX best practices
- Relevant experience in the medical devices industry
- Professional software development experience
- Experience working on iPad user interfaces
- Portfolio with detailed examples of past projects
Daily Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for medical tools and consoles
- Help define project requirements with user-centered design
- Design UX architecture diagrams and wireframes
- Participate in user research
- Work with tech leads to streamline hand off of designs to development
