A global leader in time and mission critical logistics and supply chain services is actively looking to add a software engineer to their team in the greater Boston area. Whether it is a medical device, a radioactive cancer therapy, the engine of an airplane, a high-speed network router, a hard drive encrypted with a summer movie release, or a liver donated for transplant, the most time sensitive shipments in the world are entrusted to them.

They are looking for a Software Engineer to provide technical services and support for their cold chain logistic services. You will be working closely with their customers along the cold chain distribution processes to resolve their issues hampering the use of application and to develop proactive software to prevent future issues and expedite the delivery process. The ideal candidate coming out of the Logistics Industry and is skilled in Angular, C#, .NET, SQL.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience with C#/.NET, SQL Database, React, AngularJS
  • Azure DevOps services
  • DevOps: CI/CD, Testing, and Monitoring
  • Experience with Azure Cloud is a plus
  • Experience with iPaaS is a plus
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Ability to demonstrate logical problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions
  • Desire to learn new skills and technology
  • Proven ability as a communicator and team contributor
  • Technical efficiencies in products such as Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint

Daily Responsibilities
  • Respond to client-based application issues to understand business expectation of the functionality
  • Learn and access data storage and source code for respective application
  • Debug functionality in lower environments to pinpoint problem area
  • Develop code-based solutions for applications issues
  • Conceive creative workarounds for short term client solutions
  • Connect to production systems and monitoring tools to identify performance bottlenecks
  • Optimize SQL Queries and Stored Procedures
  • Modify SQL Data as needed to assist completion of production business tasks
  • Contribute to the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) Process along with Product Managers
  • Document Best Practices to further collective team knowledge
  • Analyze logs to identify trends, track errors and provide suggestions for improvement
