Job Description
An organization that builds MES systems, manufacturing execution systems, for clients such as Pfizer, Lindt, Raytheon, and more is looking for project manager. They focus on taking the manufacturing process from end to end. They assist clients on automating a lot of these processes to increase their bottom line.
They are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join them on a hybrid basis. The ideal candidate has a background in working with automating processes, in a perfect world with MES systems, an understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience or familiarity with technical project management
  • Experience with software development lifecycle
  • Experience within an Agile environment
  • A prior history of working with Jira and Smartsheets
  • A B.S. from a College or University in business, technology discipline, or related field
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Experience with Datadog
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • A PMP, PMI, and/or a CSM certificate
  • Past knowledge from working in the finance or software space
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown
  • 50% overseeing/ managing the DevOps team
  • 50% communicating with Stakeholders
Daily Responsibilities
  • Organizing technology programs, projects, and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
  • Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
  • Creating and managing long-term goals based on expanding customer requirements
  • Working with leadership to develop a vision, manage a roadmap and operating plan for the program
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Writing project proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services
  • Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
  • Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team member performance as well as customer training
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
  • Analyzing program risks and issues
  • Working on strategy with the sales team
