Network Engineer/ Hybrid / CCNA required

A utilities company in Montgomery County is seeking to expand its team by hiring a Network Engineer. The primary role of the network engineer will involve providing leadership and guidance to the networking team, specifically in design and implementation projects within a predominantly Cisco-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in Cisco routing and switching, LAN/WAN technologies, VPN configuration, and Palo Alto firewall administration. Additional experience with F5 load balancers and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) would be considered advantageous. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site and additionally requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a CCNA certification. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in network engineering.
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching, network configuration, and design.
• Experience with LAN/WAN implementation
• Experience implementing and maintaining Firewalls – Palo Alto preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field AND CCNA certification

Desired Skills & Experience

• Cisco Certification – CCNP, CCIE are a plus.
• F5 experience
• Cisco ISE experience
