Our client, a leading Ivy-league University, is actively looking for a Network Engineer to join their team in Boston, MA!

***This role is beginning as a 3-month contract with potential to extend/convert. Candidates must be able to come onsite in Boston, MA***

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Level 4 Data Certification required
  • Cisco switching and Palo Alto firewall experience
  • 3-5 years of Network Engineering experience

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Helping migrate user network from public to private IP space
  • Firewall maintenance
  • Assist in determining which network technologies are to be implemented
  • Work on solutions for monitoring and alerting systems and may also contribute to vendor evaluation for network hardware and software applications
  • Hardware procurement, support, deployment, advanced network troubleshooting
