Data Engineer - Cloud Intelligence

Job Description This software product company develops an industry-leading cloud spend intelligence platform. Their SaaS product uses a secret sauce of analytics to help organizations improve the efficiency of their cloud environments. They’ve seen a ton of growth lately as more organizations look to tighten their belts and control their spend.
The team is looking to add a “software engineer turned data engineer” familiar with Python and public cloud services to work on their core product. The company is based here in Boston but they can support 100% remote as well. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience
• Python
• ETL
• REST APIs
• AWS
• DynamoDB
• Serverless services – AWS Lambda
• Ability to work core hours in the Eastern Time Zone

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other STEM field
• Experience with GCP and/or Azure in addition to AWS

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

• 40% API development
• 60% Data pipelines and ETL processes
