Join my client, a global leader in developing transformative therapies for serious diseases, and play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making through Next Best Action strategies.
As a Data Scientist on the team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and clinicians to leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques in order to accelerate the discovery and development of life-changing medicines.
Responsibilities:
- Next Best Action Development: Develop and implement Next Best Action strategies using advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms. Leverage large-scale datasets, including genomics, clinical, and molecular data, to identify patterns and optimize decision-making.
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze complex biological, clinical, and real-world data to extract meaningful insights. Develop predictive models and algorithms to optimize patient stratification, treatment selection, and clinical trial design.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Research and Development, Clinical Operations, and Computational Biology, to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning: Apply state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling techniques, and data mining methodologies to solve challenging problems in drug discovery and development.
- Data Visualization and Communication: Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling data visualizations, presentations, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.S., or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field. Relevant industry experience is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or similar, with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning libraries.
- Experience with genomics, clinical, or molecular data analysis, including familiarity with relevant tools and databases.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
