A San Francisco school is hiring for a Cloud Infrastructure Administrator. The incumbent, reporting to the Senior Director of Cloud and Systems Services and working under the direction of the Infrastructure Lead Architect, will serve as the expert-level hands-on administrator for Linux based services, automation, and emerging Public Cloud infrastructure technologies. Your responsibilities encompass all phases of the service lifecycle from design to implementation and ongoing operations and support, covering all of the IaaS/PaaS related compute/storage/network/security/automation areas.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, using Tableau, Teradata, SQL, and MSSQL Server
  • Analytical experience in data analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), data warehouse operations, managing and redesigning processes and systems, database design and tuning, project planning and management.
  • SQL skills querying massive, complex, multi-dimensional as well as unstructured data sets.
  • Extensive background in reporting and data visualization using Tableau
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
  • AWS Associate or Professional certification
  •  RHEL, OEL, or SLES certification
  •  Experience building custom RPM packages and maintaining package repositories
  • Experience with serverless cloud workloads
  • Experience with security vulnerability scanning, management, and mitigation
  •  Experience with Cloud migration and Hybrid Cloud deployment
  • Familiarity with Change Management and ITIL
  •  ISC BIND DNS production support experience
  •  Experience managing Containers
  •  DevOps, CI/CD

Responsibilities
  • Work with product/service/communication/project teams to understand business requirements and translating them into moderate to complex database related analyses and executing them to completion.
  • Generating and testing accurate data/mail files that drive customer and internal partner communication.
  • Conduct in-depth exploratory analyses/research to provide actionable insights to WCEA team and business partners, using Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, and Tableau.
  • Interpreting research and analytic findings; explaining the strategic/tactical implications on business.
  • Identify data sources and opportunities for additional infrastructure/automation.
