Senior Software Engineer

Job Description A software company, headquartered in Durham, NC, is looking for a Senior Software Engineering Lead role. Due to considerable growth, this company is looking for a Senior-level Software Engineer to create platforms and lead individual teams to success. This full-time position they are looking to fill will require you to come into the office in a hybrid role.

You are great for this position if you have 6+ years of professional experience working with Cloud experience with Azure, Google Cloud or AWS, REST APIs, Node.js/Typescript. You will also need expertise with frontend tech such as ReactJS/Typescript. You will need professional expertise in leading a team and working directly with other engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of engineering experience, preferably with full-stack experience
• Able to speak back-end languages like Node.js and Typescript
• Knowledgeable in front-end frameworks, ReactJS/Typescript
• Comprehensive knowledge of relational database systems
• Strong acquaintance with widely used JavaScript frameworks and libraries
• Excellent communication abilities

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience using Google, Azure, or AWS clouds
• Making REST APIs that are well-documented
• Strong foundation in computer science, ability to write effective algorithms, ability to write unit tests, and ability to model data as graphs
