Sr Palo Alto Engineer

Job Description

One of the fastest growing industrial machinery companies is looking to bring on a Sr Palo Alto Engineer. In this role you will be expected to lead, develop, and implement hardening standards through the ecosystem of the organization. As the Sr Palo Alto Engineer, you will be responsible for 700+ remote locations, primary and backup datacenters. This role requires you to go onsite 3-4 days a week depending on the workload.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years’ experience in a security related field
• CCNP certification
• CISSP Certification
• Deep knowledge of NGFW configuration
• Deep knowledge of Information security concepts
• Deep knowledge of intrusion prevention and protection
• Deep knowledge Palo Alto
• Network Security in 500+ site networks
• Experience in designing and managing LAN and WAN methodologies

What You Will Be Doing

• Firewall Configuration Monitoring and management
• Network Transport for layer 1-4 security design
• Wireless Network configuration
• Management and controls of remote access VPN
• Analyze and troubleshoot security network issues
• IPS / IDS design and configuration
