Lead FullStack Node Engineer

We started working with a marketing research startup that focuses on streamlining and optimizing customer research through transparency and collaboration. They're looking to hire a Lead Full Stack Engineer heavily proficient in Node.js that can plan products out, be hands-on, and guide their junior developers. Preferably they are looking for a Chicago local candidate as they have a presence in the city and meet up from time to time.
This position will allow you to really own the technical developments and design as the company wants you to come in and bring your greatest ideas. If you’re looking for a position that gives you autnonmy on how to build a product this role is what you’re looking for. Required Skills & Experience

• 6 years of experience developing software
• Proficient in Node.js and knowledge of React.js
• 1 year of leadership experience
• Ability to work with APis

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in a startup
• Able to mentor junior engineers
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar experience
