My client is looking to add a Business Analyst to the tech team in Chicago or New York. The client is a diversified investment firm providing investment guidance to clients big and small. This will be a contract-to-hire opportunity with conversion expected around the 6-month mark.
Our client is an investment firm first but operate like a tech startup, placing emphasis on providing an environment where Engineers get to work with the latest tools in technologies and providing a space where you can grow and develop. There is a big emphasis on company culture and the folks who start out here, don’t leave! They’re looking for someone who is a great communicator, confident in their ability to hold stakeholders accountable and really drive innovation for their products. This person will also be strong numbers and data and a pro at math! Required Skills & Experience

- 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Leading requirements gathering
- Great communication skills
- Experience in the financial space as a Business Analyst
- Strong math skills
- Ability to research financial concepts
- Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Excel, Deal cloud
- Running meetings with Shareholders/Qualitative team/Investors
- Going over requirements/running stand up meetings
- Providing status updates
- Detail Oriented
- Team Collaboration
