A client company of ours is looking for a motivated full-time Data Engineer who is enthusiastic about building solutions that integrate and transform data with the end goal of enabling end users to make data-driven decisions! The company is a global alternative asset management solutions provider with approximately $71 billion in assets under management across various return investment strategies. They have specialized in alternatives for more than 50 years and trust an experienced team of approximately 520 professionals from diverse backgrounds that serve a global client base of investors.
You should have a deep understanding of data engineering and data modelling and have experience building data integration solutions in one or more technologies. Some standard technology competencies include: Azure, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift.
This position is remote.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Technical and business communication experience
  • Azure Data Factory, Talend, or Informatica
  • SQL Azure, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift
  • NoSQL
  • Azure DevOps, AppVeyor, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and/or GitHub Actions
Desired Skills & Experience
  • MongoDB or RavenDB
  • Power BI and Tableau
  • Azure Functions or AWS Lambda
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain existing database schemas and data models
  • Create and support data manipulation pipelines
  • Adhere to and implement department software development lifecycle standards
  • Design, build, and support scalable and resilient data solutions that enable self-service access to data using cloud native technologies
  • Work with legacy technologies (where necessary) while still driving innovation
  • Participate in all team Agile ceremonies and be a dynamic collaborator
