Mid-level Full Stack JavaScript Engineer

We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack JavaScript engineer to join this ecommerce company that supports several grocery brands across the United States. This is a Chicago-based, 6-month contract-to-hire position.

This centralized division drives all digital capabilities for a number of the largest grocery brands in the U.S. They’re looking for a mid-level software engineer proficient in JavaScript, ideally Vue.js and Node.js, to join their eCommerce team to design and develop new features for their consumer-facing web application. The ideal candidate would be comfortable working alongside product managers to understand the retail industry and customer needs.
Contract Duration: 6 months Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of front end JavaScript experience (Vue, React, Angular)
• 2+ years of back end experience (Node.js, GraphQL)
• 2+ years of experience in the eCommerce field
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Desired Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated passion for learning emerging technologies
• Experience with HTML and CSS
• Experience participating in sprint planning and design
