Remote Senior SDET - Ruby or JavaScript

A financial lender company located in Chicago is looking to add a few SDETs to the team on a CTH basis. This is a fully remote opportunity, and the company acquires countless opportunities for growth, whether you want to get into Management or Architecture. The team focuses on Ruby and JavaScript automation, but the Manager is open for someone who wants to focus on either of the two. The environment is more front end heavy, but once in a while there might be a point where writing simple SQL Database queries are required. If you think this could be a fit, apply today!

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of automation testing, especially with Ruby or JavaScript.
• Heavy understanding of Rspec, Capybara, Selenium.
• Heavy understanding of TestCafe or Typescript.
• Able to write complex SQL queries.
• Heavy CI/CD pipeline experience when needed.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant field.
• Cloud exposure is a plus.
• Performance Testing is a plus.
• Any certification is a plus.
• Good communication skills, able to work successfully with other teams.
• Team player! Able to work well with others and adapt to work environments.
